We are seeking an enthusiastic Sous Chef to join our second Block in Bearsted. Successfully trading for the last 8 years in Burham and gaining 2** AA Rosettes, we opened a second Block. Working alongside experienced chefs, this is an exciting opportunity to join the team, learn new skills and use the finest local and seasonal produce. Due to the demand, you will need to be able to work and cope well under pressure. Working within a busy kitchen team and closely alongside front of house, you need to be a team player. We are passionate about food and service. This is a full-time role and a perfect opportunity for a passionate chef looking for career progression. You will need to be confident and able to work well within the team.
Location: Butchers Block Bearsted is located 3 miles from Maidstone town centre with a regular train service into Bearsted train station, located 10 minutes walk from the pub.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications: Previous chef role. Minimum 3 years chef experience.
Benefits: Holidays and pensions are given in line with the current regulations.
