Job Overview

Support European store cost forecasting, modelling and reporting, including payroll, loss prevention, customer services, repairs and utilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Run Finance cycles (verbal, month-end, rolling plan, budget) and analyse variances against forecast.
• Model and publish payroll feeds for store hours.
• Monitor headcount and business metrics.
• Partner with Central Store Operations and Retail Operations to support and analyse queries from market operators.
• Challenge variances and understand market nuances, travelling occasionally.
• Communicate performance to Retail Senior Leadership, simplifying finance results for non-finance audiences.
• Identify opportunities to improve regular reporting and enhance analysis for efficiency.
• Provide ad‑hoc support and analysis to business partners on regional store performance.

Qualifications

• Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW, ACA, AAT) or equivalent.
• Industry experience in retail finance or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel occasionally across markets.
