Your Team: This role sits within our Corporate Partnerships team. Our primary objective is to drive subscription volume and revenue by selling strategic B2B and B2B2C subscription partnerships to organisations and corporations. We position The Times' subscription products as a high-value benefit for our partners to use within their own customer and employee loyalty and retention programs. We are a collaborative team of five, and as one of two Sales Executives, you will report to the Senior Sales Manager.
Your Role: As a key member of our sales team, you will drive growth by selling Corporate Subscription Partnerships that significantly increase volume and revenue. You will act as a brand ambassador, identifying new opportunities to integrate our world-class journalism into the ecosystems of leading organisations and brands.
Day to day You Will:
- Sell subscription partnerships to vertical categories and target brands through active prospecting and discovery.
- Negotiate contracts and answer client briefs with tailored solutions.
- Administer inbound corporate subscription enquiries and requests efficiently.
- Develop longâterm client relationships across both new business and existing maintenance accounts.
- Build progressive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure partnership success.
- Support the team's Operations and Account Manager with account integration and launch phases.
- Collaborate with the wider Times commercial teams to identify and capitalise on partnership opportunities.
What we're looking for from you:
- Demonstrate a proactive approach and a genuine enthusiasm for the products and services we provide.
- Experience in a subscriptionâbased or partnershipâfocused sales environment, ideally within the publishing industry.
- Experience in an outbound sales setting with a focus on achieving commercial targets.
- Evidence a commercially minded approach with the ability to create and present persuasive, dataâdriven proposals.
- Communicate confidently when working with internal stakeholders, such as marketing, finance, and product teams, to align on goals.
- Navigate the contract development process by working effectively with legal teams to finalise agreements.
