The Times & Sunday Times develop and enhance the Times and Sunday Times digital products, which include our core website and a portfolio of additional titles such as the Times Literary Supplement, Travel, Style and Beauty. We work in partnership with internal and external digital platform teams.
The Studio team creates campaigns for our clients and agencies that harness emotions to change how people think, feel and act around commercial brands. By telling stories that entertain, excite and inspire across News UK’s news-brands and channels in digital, video, radio, print, social, events and more, we deliver the best blend of editorial, branding, social sharing and interactive content.
The Project Manager will work on multiple campaigns and partnerships to plan, document, budget, timeline, communicate and troubleshoot at all levels and liaise with clients at every step of the project cycle. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring vital information flows through to Studio teams and internal/external stakeholders at all times, and all parties are clear on their tasks, deliverables and timelines. The role is to ensure that campaigns are a success by excellent project and customer relationship management and flawless delivery of campaigns and partnerships.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day running of campaigns and partnerships across all platforms
- Serve as the main point of contact internally and externally across the project life cycle
- Scope client briefs and provide client and creative insight, costs and scheduling feasibility in pitch responses
- From point of sale define project scope, lead kick-offs, coordinate requirements, create project schedules and ensure deadlines are met on multiple projects across all platforms
- Manage project team to ensure delivery of campaign is on time and within budget
- Create and manage budgets and costs for each project and report on a monthly basis
- Manage shoots, production and contracting with talent
- Build successful relationships and gain the respect and trust of clients and internal stakeholders
- Work with the Digital Account Management team to optimise and meet campaign KPIs
- Work with Insight teams to deliver and present a post-campaign assessment of each project to clients and internal/external stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project and customer relationship management
- Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to make decisions autonomously with a structured, coordinated approach
- Podcast project management experience is preferable but not required
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Experience in a project management role or similar position with transferable skills
- A background in media or publishing is preferable
