As an Operations Assistant you will keep the yard clean, safe and running smoothly while ensuring customers receive friendly, reliable service. You’ll work closely with your team to support picking, stocking and logistics on the site.
Responsibilities
- Pick orders across carcassing, sheets, joinery and PAR accurately and efficiently.
- Keep the yard clean, tidy and well-organised, with stock clearly labelled.
- Flag low stock levels to the team.
- Help out with general housekeeping to keep the space safe and neat.
- Operate forklifts safely and responsibly, following all health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with picking and loading company vehicles when needed.
- Communicate with the team to keep things running smoothly.
- Jump in with any other tasks that help get the job done.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Comfortable reading paperwork and keeping records accurate.
- Able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
- Manage time well when working solo.
