We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join our small, specialist SEND school, supporting children and young people with SEMH and Autism. Essential Requirements

  • Experience working with SEMH and/or Autism
  • Confidence dealing with challenging behaviours
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Calm, patient, and resilient nature
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

Desirable Experience

  • Previous work in SEND schools, PRUs, residential care, or youth work
  • Team Teach or other behaviour management training
  • Understanding of trauma-informed practice
  • Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs
