Do you have experience in children’s residential care and a passion for making a difference? We are recruiting for a Senior Support Worker to join our client in Residential Childcare. You will make a positive impact to the lives of up to three children at their large, nurturing home based in Plymouth, where they focus on therapeutic care and the PACE model (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) to support positive outcomes for children and young people. Key Responsibilities * Provide high-quality, therapeutic care to children in line with the PACE model. * Lead shifts, supervising and mentoring a team of support workers. * Support the emotional and physical well-being of children, helping them achieve their potential. * Contribute to care plans, risk assessments, and day-to-day management of the home. * Ensure the home meets regulatory standards and follows safeguarding procedures. Requirements * Experience in a children’s residential care setting. * NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People or equivalent (or working towards it). * Strong communication and leadership skills. * Knowledge of therapeutic practices and safeguarding policies. * Full UK Driving Licence.
