We’re looking for dedicated and resilient Children's Residential Support Worker to join our caring and committed team at a children’s residential home in Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex. About the Role:

As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you’ll be an essential part of a supportive and structured environment, helping young people feel safe, valued, and empowered. You’ll be there through daily routines, challenging moments, and everything in between — always leading with care, consistency, and compassion.

Rota:

  • 3 x 14-hour shifts per week
  • Shift time: 7:45am – 10:00pm
  • Stable and consistent rota pattern for a great work-life balance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building positive relationships and acting as a trusted adult for young people
  • Supporting children with daily routines, activities, and emotional wellbeing
  • Promoting independence, life skills, and positive behaviour
  • Recording accurate logs, reports, and contributing to care planning
  • Collaborating with your team and professionals to ensure high-quality care

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people (residential experience desirable)
  • Compassionate, reliable, and confident in challenging situations
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
