The Role
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support our digital and general marketing activity across PPC, SEO, website management, social media, content creation and analytics. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this is a hands-on, varied role ideal for a marketing professional looking to develop their skills in a supportive, mission-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise PPC campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads, paid social)
- Conduct keyword research, write ad copy and manage budgets
- Optimise on-page and off-page SEO
- Maintain and update website content using WordPress or similar CMS
- Assist with landing pages, website updates and marketing content
- Plan, create and schedule social media content (paid and organic)
- Monitor engagement and respond to messages and comments
- Track performance using Google Analytics, Search Console and ad platforms
- Prepare reports with insights and recommendations
- Support email marketing campaigns and service launches
- Coordinate marketing activity with internal teams and external partners
Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years’ experience in digital marketing
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices
- Experience using a CMS (e.g. WordPress)
- Knowledge of social media platforms and scheduling tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organised, creative and detail-oriented
- Confident using Microsoft Office
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
- Ability to commute to Broxbourne (EN10) when required
- Right to work in the UK
