An opportunity to join an exciting organisation as a Quality Control Technician.
We are looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our clients highly skilled team and to be part of our clients exciting growth journey.
Working as part of the inspection team you will be trusted partner responsible for ensuring that all equipment is calibrated with valid certification. Maintain & update the database. Calibrate in house & arrange for external calibration. Ordering new/replacement equipment.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Calibration and validate monitoring of measuring equipment prior to use
- The upkeep & development of the Calibration database
- Support the production teams calibrations.
- Maintain traceability and compliance to required standards
- Quarantine and identify non-conforming parts to ensure all product non-conformances are accurately reported.
- Contribute to quality led improvement initiatives and support overall quality performance.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years\’ experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment in a Quality control role
- Competent with manual calibration processes on equipment such as tapes, rules, vernier, micrometres etc.
- Ability to work with imperial or metric equipment.
- Excel, word & Microsoft Power point
