What You’ll Be Doing

  • You’ll play a key role in delivering robust, compliant mechanical designs across a range of nuclear and industrial projects.
  • Create high‑quality 3D models (Inventor/SolidWorks) and 2D manufacturing drawings (AutoCAD).
  • Produce and verify design calculations.
  • Develop solutions from client specifications, national standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Projects, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain.
  • Support design reviews, approvals, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to project delivery, ensuring designs meet cost, quality, and safety targets.
  • Build deep product knowledge across the full lifecycle.

What You’ll Bring

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • Strong 3D/2D CAD skills (Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Solid understanding of mechanical design principles.
  • Experience with pressure systems, pumps, pipework, or packaged systems (advantageous).
  • Logical, analytical problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi‑disciplinary team.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.
  • UK nationality (due to secure site access requirements).
