Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications
- Fabricate metal components including cutting, drilling, bending, forming, and assembling
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or MMA welding to required quality standards
- Carry out positional welding where required (vertical, overhead, etc.)
- Inspect completed welds for structural integrity, accuracy, and conformance
What the Employer is Looking For
- Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder in a workshop or engineering environment
- Confident ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong fabrication skills: cutting, measuring, forming, and assembling
- Good working knowledge of workshop tools and machinery
- High attention to detail and a genuine commitment to producing quality work
