Thrive Shepton are delighted to be working with our client in Yetminster, who are actively recruiting for a Wholesale Packer to join their production team.
Responsibilities
- Carry out final checks of packed products to ensure the correct item has been packed and the specified weight matches the customer order
- Ensure the work area is tidy and clear at the end of each shift
- Ensure customer, company and site compliance requirements are consistently met
- Always comply with company policies and procedures relating to safe food handling and hygiene
- Report any accidents and absences in line with site reporting procedures
- Carry out all tasks in a safe manner in accordance with Health & Safety responsibilities
Do you have:
- The ability to work under your own initiative
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A high level of attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed operating procedures
- The ability to follow instructions, particularly those relating to personal Health & Safety and the wearing of PPE
- Good physical fitness, as the role involves a substantial amount of physical activity
- A can-do attitude with good communication skills
- A basic understanding of verbal and written English
Working Hours:
- Including 2 x 30-minute breaks
What you will receive in return:
- £13.50 per hour + Piece rate bonus
