Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in the Westbury area who are actively looking to recruit Production Line Leaders on a fixed term basis.
Working Hours
- For Sept - Mid November: Monday - Friday 07:30 - 15:30, 60 min break for Lunch (30 mins paid and 30 mins unpaid)
- Mid November to end of December: working 12 hour shifts. 07:00-19:00 / 19:00/07:00
What you will be doing:
- Lead the safe and efficient running of the production line, making sure all checks are completed and production targets are achieved.
- Organise and support the production team by allocating work, guiding colleagues, monitoring performance, and reporting any issues when needed.
- Ensure products are made, packed, labelled, and recorded correctly, meeting food safety, quality, hygiene, and customer requirements.
- Monitor production throughout the shift, resolving or reporting any production, quality, safety, equipment, or staffing issues.
- Maintain good manufacturing and housekeeping standards, support continuous improvement, and work flexibly across production areas as required.
What you will need to succeed:
- Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or a production environment, including supporting or leading a production team.
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, GMP, and quality standards.
- Able to complete production, quality, safety, and traceability records accurately.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Reliable, flexible, and confident using basic IT systems, including email, Excel, and production software.
What you will receive in return:
- Β£15.00 per hour (overtime at x1.5)
- Fixed term contract (September - December)
- 27 days plus bank holidays pro-rated for the duration of the FTC
