Thrive Group are seeking a dedicated and experienced new business sales professional from the powered access hire industry to work for our client based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Promoting the company's services and benefits to the customer and maximising sales through face-to-face visits and cold calling.
  • Managing an existing customer portfolio and targeting new business in accordance with depot targets.
  • Working with the Depot Manager to retain and manage all customers and sites within an agreed sales area.
  • Achieving revenue growth against depot budget and reactivating any dormant accounts.
  • Carrying out site surveys as required, aiding the customer in selecting the appropriate machine for the task.
  • Building effective customer relationships, exceeding customer service and expectations.
  • Working to targets and exceeding current sales figures.
  • Generating new business within the Yorkshire and North East areas of England.

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrable successful track record in new business in the rental sector.
  • Previous background in new business sales in the powered access hire industry for equipment to work at height.
  • Experience of selling into the construction and domestic sectors.
  • Excellent customer service skills both face-to-face as well as over the phone.
  • Full UK Driving licence category B.

Package/Salary:

  • Basic salary expectations – open to basic salary, uncapped.
