We’re currently recruiting Production Technicians to join a dynamic manufacturing and production team in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous production or manufacturing experience to work in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment, supporting the creation of high-quality products through a range of technical and operational processes. The Operations Department is responsible for turning raw materials into completed, quality‑controlled products via a series of precise production processes. You’ll work as part of a skilled team ensuring all procedures are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and perform basic production tasks across all areas, developing to a competent level in one main area (e.g., Dispensing & Mixing, Form Fill Freeze, Sealing, or Secondary Packaging).
- Support senior technicians and team leads in maintaining production schedules and meeting output targets.
- Carry out general housekeeping and equipment cleaning duties to maintain high GMP standards and prevent cross‑contamination.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) accurately and safely.
- Report any issues, deviations, or equipment failures promptly.
- Participate actively in safety initiatives, accident investigations, and risk assessments.
- Complete all equipment cleaning records and logbooks accurately.
- Work closely with team leaders to develop your skills, complete training, and maintain up-to-date compliance records.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and 5S initiatives across the site.
- Assist with loading/unloading, product inspection, and equipment operations as needed to support production flow.
