Thrive Bolton are currently recruiting Refuse Loaders to support local Council\'s waste and recycling team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to your local community by ensuring waste and recycling collections are carried out safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely loading and unloading waste and recycling bins onto collection vehicles
Acting as a banksman to support safe vehicle manoeuvres
Working collaboratively as part of a team
Engaging with members of the public in a polite and professional manner
Assisting other teams as required
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, starting at 07:00am, until finish however must be available until 4pm.
Requirements:
Previous experience in refuse collection is essential
Good level of physical fitness - this role involves working on your feet and handling heavy bins
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Team player with a positive and reliable attitude
- Working within a team, helping to guide the route with the driver, including banksman duties.
