Thrive Skelmersdale are recruiting Class 1 (Cat C+E) drivers with refrigerated trailer experience for our well‑established client in the Preston area. This will be holiday cover/ ad‑hoc basis, but this could lead to ongoing work for the right candidate. The candidate must have the below.
Drivers must have the following
- Full C+E Class 1 license
- Digital tacho card and valid CPC card
- A good understanding of Drivers hours and regulations
- Good understanding of the working time directive
- Fridge experience preferred
- Excellent geographical knowledge of UK road network
- Flexible approach to work
- Customer focused attitude
The driver will deliver refrigerated goods around the UK and will need to self‑tip using a pump truck.
Start times are between 1800/19.00 the average shift is 10 - 12 + hours depending on the route.
Mon - Fri nights £16.12, £17.16 Sat nights and £18.20 Sun nights. 45 min break deducted.
