Thrive Oldham are recruiting for a FLT Counterbalance/Bendi Driver in the Oldham Area/OL1 on behalf of our well established client
What you will be doing:
- Assisting the stores team leader where required to manage stock and spares requirements
- Moving large stock with a counterbalance/bendi FLT
- Carrying out Line Feeding duties when needed
- Stock control
- Loading and unloading of deliveries
- Adhering to strict health and safety policies at all times
- Manual handling
- Operating the Counterbalance/bendi FLT trucks in and around the warehouse
- Basic picking and packing around the warehouse
- Adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures
- Reporting any damages to the product
- Communicating effectively within the workplace
- Identifying and labelling pallets for dispatch
- Adhering to all health and safety rules and regulations.
- Ensure that the shopfloor is being kept tidy and organised
- Working with the dispatch supervisor to develop processes to complete the production schedule in a timely manner whilst assisting and supporting the dispatch and stores team leaders in their day-to-day tasks.
Essential Requirements
- Experience of working in a busy production warehouse/environment
- Valid external FLT counterbalance/bendi licence
- Confident and flexible nature in dealing with issues that arise.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Good concentration with good eyes for details
- PC Literate, experience of utilising Microsoft Office packages.
What you will receive in return:
Immediate start after successful interview
Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm
Friday 7am - 12pm
Β£12.71 per hour /temporary, ongoing
