Thrive Oldham are recruiting Production Dispatch Operatives in the Oldham Area on behalf of our well established client.
Job Description:
- Assisting the dispatch supervisor in the day-to-day role of ensuring products are shipped to the customers.
- Assisting the stores team leader where required to manage stock and spares requirements.
- Managing product flows across the shopfloor to ensure that orders are being completed as scheduled.
- Support the assistant production manager during busy periods and holiday cover.
- Support the dispatch supervisor during busy periods and holiday cover.
- Ensure that the shopfloor is being kept tidy and organised.
- Working with the dispatch supervisor to develop processes to complete the production schedule in a timely manner whilst assisting and supporting the dispatch and stores team leaders in their day-to-day tasks.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience of working in a busy production warehouse/environment.
- Experience with a quality check of electrical items.
- Knowledge of electromechanical products.
- Confident and flexible nature in dealing with issues that arise.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Good concentration with good eyes for details.
- PC Literate, experience of utilising Microsoft Office packages.
Immediate start after successful interview. Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm, Friday 7am - 12pm. £12.71 per hour / temporary ongoing.
