Thrive Oldham are recruiting Production Dispatch Operatives in the Oldham Area/OL1 on behalf of our well established client.

Job Description:

  • Assisting the dispatch supervisor in the day-to-day role of ensuring products are shipped to the customers.
  • Deal administration, with carriers DHL, Royal Mail so to be PC literate is important.
  • Assisting the stores team leader where required to manage stock and spares requirements.
  • Managing product flows across the shopfloor to ensure that orders are being completed as scheduled.
  • Support the assistant production manager during busy periods and holiday cover.
  • Support the dispatch supervisor during busy periods and holiday cover.
  • Ensure that the shopfloor is being kept tidy and organised.
  • Working with the dispatch supervisor to develop processes to complete the production schedule in a timely manner whilst assisting and supporting the dispatch and stores team leaders in their day-to-day tasks.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a busy production warehouse/environment.
  • Experience with a quality check of electrical items.
  • Knowledge of electromechanical products.
  • Confident and flexible nature in dealing with issues that arise.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Good concentration with good eyes for details.
  • PC Literate, experience of utilising Microsoft Office packages.

  • Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm, Friday 7am - 12pm.
  • £12.71 per hour /temporary ongoing.
  • Free parking on site.
