Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our progressive client based in the Bradford area who are actively looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
- Fault find and diagnose equipment breakdowns, assessing the best course of action and conducting a performance repair.
- Carrying out repair or maintenance tasks as required.
- Involvement with continuous improvement projects and equipment installations.
- Fault finding (both mechanical and electrical).
- Using CMMS to record and manage work as well as lean manufacturing tools to improve efficiency.
What you will need to succeed:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment essential.
- A good understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics (Mitsubishi/Siemens).
- Knowledge of inverters, drives and PLCs.
- Ability to work on own and as part of a team.
- NVQ3 or ONC engineering electrical engineering or equivalent.
What you will receive in return:
- Continental shift pattern.
- Salary £43,000 to £50,500 DOE (opportunities for progression with structured pay increases, subject to skills assessment).
- 31 Days Paid Holidays Per Year (inclusive of statutory).
- Company sick pay scheme.
