Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in the Frome area who are actively looking to recruit a Sewing Machinist on a temporary to permanent basis.
Working Hours:
- 35 hours per week
- 08:00 start with flexible hours as long as required hours are completed
What you will be doing:
- Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture cushion covers.
- Sew a variety of fabrics accurately and to a high standard.
- Follow patterns, measurements and production instructions.
- Ensure finished products meet quality standards.
- Meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Keep the workstation clean, tidy and safe.
- Work as part of a team to meet production requirements.
What you will need to succeed:
- Previous experience as an industrial Sewing Machinist.
- Experience sewing cushion covers, upholstery or soft furnishings preferred.
- Confident operating industrial sewing machines.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
