What you will be doing:

  • Loading, unloading, packing, and picking items.
  • Stacking pallets, manual handling, and frequent heavy lifting (max 25kg).
  • Working on the end of the conveyor belt.
  • Meeting daily targets given by your supervisor.

What you will need to succeed:

  • A strong work history with long contracts in past positions, demonstrating commitment and consistency.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
  • Experience in loading, unloading, picking, packing, and IT knowledge (Office knowledge and use of warehousing software).
  • Warehouse vehicle machinery certificates or experience in driving LLOP/PPT/FLT is a plus.
  • Willingness to do overtime with short or same day notice according to business needs.
  • Comfortable with walk picking and lifting heavy boxes (max 25kg).
  • Able to undertake training for vehicles and for the warehouse computer system.
  • The ideal candidate is hardworking, accurate, and willing to learn how to operate machinery as part of their development.

What you will receive in return:

  • Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour.
  • Contract: long term ongoing/temporary.
  • Area: Chadderton, OL9.
  • Hours: Monday - Friday.
  • Free car park.
  • The role may involve either full-time or part-time shifts; specific arrangements will be confirmed by the employer.
  • Consideration should be given to travel distance and flexibility in working overtime when needed.
  • Afternoon shifts: full time or part time hours finishing at 8pm or 9pm with availability to work additional hours at short notice after your original shift.
  • After a successful interview, you can start immediately.

PLEASE NOTE: Prior to starting with our client, a rapid drug screening test and DBS check will be required on all successful candidates; candidates should not have any pre-booked holidays.
