Thrive Shepton are delighted to be working with our client in Bridgwater, who are actively recruiting for Warehouse Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis to join the team.
Responsibilities
- Receive and check loads into the warehouse, ensuring all correct packaging and labelling is in place
- Process pick orders with required accuracy and attention to detail
- Ensure all stock handled is secure and complies with relevant food safety standards
- Operate assigned mechanical handling equipment to store and transport customer goods safely
- Assist with assembling loads for dispatch and loading onto vehicles
- Conduct quality checks to ensure standards of cleanliness and hygiene levels
- Take action to ensure any hazards are controlled or removed to maintain a safe working environment
- Team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Preferably previous warehouse or operational experience
