At Thrive Group, we are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for a well-established client based in the Bridgwater area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking for ongoing night work with excellent rates of pay, regular trunking routes and long-term opportunities. If you enjoy driving with fewer road users, straightforward routes and a supportive transport team, we'd love to hear from you. Temp to Perm opportunities available for the right person.
Excellent Pay Rates (Minimum 8-hour shift):
- Monday to Friday (Days): £17.50 per hour
- Monday to Friday (Nights): £20.24 per hour
- Saturday (Days): £19.99 per hour
- Saturday (Nights): £22.68 per hour
- Sunday (Days): £20.86 per hour
- Sunday (Nights): £23.54 per hour

Your Role:
As an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you'll be responsible for transporting chilled and frozen goods between distribution centres and customer locations across the UK. Your duties will include:
- Completing trunking and scheduled deliveries.
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks.
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
- Completing all transport paperwork accurately.
- Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport legislation.
- Delivering a professional and reliable service at all times.
What We're Looking For:
- A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- A flexible and reliable approach to work.
- A professional attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Previous Class 1 or trunking experience is advantageous but not essential.
