The Role
Thrive Group are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced CNC Turning Programmer / Setter / Operator on behalf of our client based in Shipley. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing engineering business offering stability and a great working environment. You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines to produce high-quality components in line with technical drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines
- Working from engineering drawings to manufacture precision components
- Adjusting machine settings to ensure quality and efficiency
- Carrying out basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet required standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
About You
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner (Programmer/Setter/Operator)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with CNC controls (Fanuc/Siemens or similar desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
