With the festive season approaching, we are looking for enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our bar staff team to help us create a lively and festive atmosphere for our guests.
As Bar Staff, you’ll be responsible for serving drinks, engaging with customers, and ensuring our bars run smoothly during the busy holiday period. You’ll be at the heart of the action, mixing up seasonal cocktails, pouring pints, and delivering the outstanding service that the Scotsman Group is known for.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guests feel welcome and valued.
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in line with licensing laws and company standards.
- Mix and serve a range of cocktails, beers, wines, and soft drinks.
- Engage with guests, answer questions, and provide recommendations on drinks.
- Manage the bar area, ensuring it remains clean, well-stocked, and organised.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of the bar before and after shifts.
- Work efficiently during busy periods, especially on key dates.
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality role is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A friendly, approachable attitude with a passion for making customers feel special.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and key festive dates (including Christmas and New Year).
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and drink preparation is a plus.
- Personal Licence Holders Certificate (preferred but not required).
