We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment. Duties

  • Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and organising supplies
  • Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Help with stock control, including receiving deliveries and storing ingredients appropriately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils and equipment and sanitising surfaces
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
  • Support the catering team during service periods

Experience

  • Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
  • Experience in meal preparation or culinary roles is desirable but not mandatory
  • A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail and organisation
