We are looking for an ambitious and passionate General Manager to lead The Three Crowns, an established free house country pub that forms part of a small but growing independent pub group built around unique, individually run venues.

The Three Crowns is a traditional countryside pub, balancing quality food and a welcoming drinks trade within a beautiful historic building. With a large garden, lively bar areas, and good sized restaurant, the vision for the pub is to attract both loyal locals and destination customers alike meeting for social drinks or meals.

We are looking for someone who wants more than just running a pub — we want somebody excited to put their own stamp on the business, create reasons for customers to visit throughout the week, and develop the pub’s identity, atmosphere, and reputation to the next level.

About the Role

You will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the pub, alongside its long term vision, working closely with an established kitchen and front of house team to drive standards, sales, and overall improve guest experience.

What We’re Looking For
  • Previous management experience in a similar style pub, restaurant, or hospitality venue
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • A passion for hospitality, food, drink, and customer experience
  • Someone proactive with ideas to drive trade and create weekly events or reasons to visit
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to grow sales while maintaining standards
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to lead from the front
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary of £40,000+ depending on experience
  • Bonus schemes available
  • Share of tips
  • Accommodation available for the right candidate
  • Opportunity to make a genuine impact within an independent pub group and create a pub that feels 'yours'
  • Freedom to help shape the direction and personality of the business, including working with local suppliers, growers and brewers where possible
  • Support from a growing local hospitality company that values individuality over “copy and paste” pubs.

If you are passionate about creating memorable pubs with character, community, and atmosphere, and are confident in running your own pub, your way, we’d love to hear from you.
