We are looking to appoint a Senior Payroll Coordinator to support our growing payroll function as the second-in-command for the payroll team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the role focuses on compliance, benefits, data accuracy, and the smooth running of payroll processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the Payroll Coordinator in processing monthly payroll across 17 entities.
- Work closely with People Operations and Finance teams to ensure information needed by them is up to date and accurate.
- Complete monthly reconciliation of payroll journals.
- Support the People team on benefit enhancements and provide insight on legislation and impact.
- Consistently look for ways to improve processes within payroll and pensions.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Senior Payroll Coordinator, Payroll Supervisor, or similar role.
- Handling payroll in-house across multiple sites is ideal.
- Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to take initiative and improve processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
