We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our Academy Governing Board as Chair of Governors. This is a pivotal leadership position that offers the opportunity to make a profound difference to children’s lives while shaping the strategic direction of your local school. As Chair, you will guide the board in its work, support and challenge the school’s leadership, and ensure that governance is purposeful, efficient, and grounded in our vision to transform the life chances of every young person.
What We’re Looking For:
- Governance experience (either as a governor or in a comparable strategic role)
- Experience within the education sector, or strong strategic leadership skills from any professional background
- Dedicated and able to commit the time
- Open to learning and supporting others
- Motivated by delivering the best outcomes for children and the community
A full handover, mentoring, and ongoing support will be provided.
