Meon Way Federation is currently seeking a Senior Midday Supervisor to join our team on a Permanent contract. Based at Moorings Way Infant School or Meon Infant School, you will be actively supervising pupils in the playground and dining hall, ensuring a safe and positive lunchtime experience. As Senior Midday Supervisor, you will lead a small team of lunchtime staff, modelling positive behaviour management and promoting children's wellbeing and social development throughout lunchtime.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of Midday Supervisors
  • Arrange and facilitate appropriate play and physical activities
  • Supervise pupils in the dining areas and playgrounds
  • Ensure good standards of behaviour by the pupils are maintained
  • Assist with associated ancillary duties (e.g. cleaning up spillages, ensuring tables are clean, etc)
  • Provide welfare support to the pupils of the school, including undertaking first aid duties (depending on training)
  • Attend appropriate training sessions in order to increase knowledge and skills
  • To ensure First Aid is given and actions are recorded in the First Aid book
  • To ensure confidentiality in all matters pertaining to the children and the school
  • To be flexible and adaptable to deal with the changing needs of the school
