About The Role
A Mobile Facilities Officer to support the Site Manager at The Portsmouth Academy, ensuring safe, well‑maintained premises and assisting with capital projects. This role is based at The Portsmouth Academy, with travel to other hub sites as required.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day site maintenance and facility management.
- Support capital projects and development work.
- Ensure premises comply with health, safety and behaviour standards.
- Manage cleaning, maintenance and use of facilities across the Trust.
- Respond to site maintenance requests via the Help Desk service.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday 07:30‑15:30; Friday 07:30‑15:00. From time to time split shift patterns may be required.
Requirements
- Practical maintenance and cleaning skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety management.
- Desirable: experience working within an academy/school.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Full clean driving licence and access to own transport.
