We are seeking a Classroom Teacher to join our supportive team at The Gordon Children's Academy. The successful candidate will be an experienced teacher or an ECT starting their career, who will be willing to play a full part in the further development of our school and our trust, joining us in our aims to make learning irresistible and to provide a nurturing and safe environment for everyone.

Our Classroom Teacher will be passionate about teaching and learning, have a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills. He or she will be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for achievements and behaviour, with the ability to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum, dedicated to ensuring that all our children achieve their very best.

Although the successful candidate will be based at the Gordon Children's Academy in Rochester, there may be the opportunity to teach across our Medway Hub incorporating All Faiths Children's Academy, Cedar Children's Academy, and New Horizon's Children's Academy in Chatham.

Responsibilities

  • Classroom teaching and learning, maintaining a positive and motivating environment.
  • Plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum that meets high expectations for achievement and behaviour.
  • Support the further development of the school and trust and ensure children achieve their very best.
  • Be willing to teach across schools in the Medway Hub as required.

Qualifications

  • Experienced teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is ready to start their career and is committed to professional growth.
