Our friendly and supportive Catering team are looking to appoint a Catering Assistant to help prepare and serve food and beverages, as well as maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen and restaurant. The role would suit someone passionate about cooking, who would like to work in catering but with more sociable hours during term time. The successful applicant will have enthusiasm to learn and be able to work as part of a busy team, helping to prepare high quality, nutritious food from scratch to an excellent standard.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages.
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen and restaurant.
  • Support the team during term time from 9.30am to 2.00pm, Monday to Thursday.
  • Assist with additional hours for ad-hoc events and inset days.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working in a kitchen, retail or cleaning environment is desirable but not essential. Training and support will be provided.

Working Pattern

Term time only, Monday to Thursday 9.30am-2.00pm, including inset days, with additional hours for ad-hoc events.
