About The Role
We are seeking a Nursery Practitioner and After School Club Supervisor to join our expanding nursery provision
We have a new opportunity for a Nursery Practitioner, encompassing After School Club Supervisor as we expand our provision.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner, who will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working with children and a passion for early childhood education.
Duties
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and rest periods.
- Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well‑being and development of each child.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's daily activities and progress.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well‑being of children at all times.
- Assist with general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized nursery environment.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
Qualifications
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Relevant qualification in childcare or early childhood education (e. g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
After School Club Supervisor role is for an additional 10 hours per week.
