Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Fitness Manager role located in Staines-upon-Thames. The Fitness Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the fitness department, including supervising fitness staff, managing group exercise and personal training programs, and ensuring high standards of service delivery. Key tasks include scheduling group exercise classes, providing support for personal trainers, monitoring the quality of fitness programs, and fostering positive relationships with members to encourage participation and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Group Exercise and Group Training program development and management
- Strong background in Personal Training and an understanding of its principles and practices
- Knowledge of Exercise Physiology and its application in creating effective fitness programs
- Experience within the Fitness Industry and familiarity with industry trends and standards
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of fitness professionals
- Relevant qualifications, such as certifications in fitness instruction, personal training, or exercise science
- Previous management experience in a fitness or wellness environment is a plus
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
