A remote working crime role has arisen with a specialist private crime firm. The firm are looking for a police station accredited representative (can be a solicitor, legal executive or police station rep) with a particular interest in Road Traffic offences, to join their Criminal Regulatory Defence team. The firm have a crisis response line for a range of clients in the transport sector. The key responsibility in the role is to provide immediate roadside advice after an incident and police station representation via the response line (core rota duty, shared across the team). You must have: a) full police station accreditation and b) flexibility to participate fully in the on-call rota from 5pm to 9am each weekday and 2 weekends a month (5pm Friday to 9am Monday) as well as Bank Holidays. Supportive team environment in a highly reputable, privately-funded criminal defence practice. This is a full time (on the basis you are on call throughout unless you take annual leave) salaried role. The work may fit around other work taking place during the day. Completely phone-based with police station attendance unlikely unless local. Salary of around the Β£30K region given as an indication and is subject to negotiation.
