The TEFL Org is looking for a creative and self-driven Email Marketing Executive based in Scotland, ideally within the Central Belt.

Role Overview

The Email Marketing Executive will be responsible for delivering high-performing, data-led email campaigns that nurture leads, engage customers, and drive conversions across The TEFL Org's global markets. This is a hands-on, creative, and analytical role that combines copywriting, design coordination, and automation. You'll manage end-to-end campaign delivery in Klaviyo (and related tools), ensuring every send is on-brand, targeted, and optimised for engagement and revenue.

Working closely with the wider marketing and customer experience teams, you'll play a key part in building meaningful, long-term relationships with our audience. While this is a fully remote role, we are only considering candidates based in Scotland. The Brand & Content team are located in Scotland's Central Belt and meet in person regularly, so proximity is important for collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, build, and deliver email marketing campaigns to support brand, acquisition, and retention goals.
  • Manage the email content calendar in alignment with promotions, new courses, and marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate with the design and content teams to produce visually engaging, mobile-optimised templates.
  • Write and proof compelling subject lines, body copy, and CTAs that match audience intent and campaign tone.
  • Build and maintain automated email flows for lead nurturing, onboarding, and post-course engagement.
  • Use segmentation, behavioural data, and engagement metrics to tailor content to different audience groups.
  • Monitor deliverability and list hygiene, managing audience growth and unsubscribes in compliance with GDPR.
  • Track, analyse, and report on email performance, including open rates, CTR, conversion, and revenue contribution.
  • Run A/B tests to continually optimise subject lines, creative, and send times.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Campaign Manager to integrate learnings into broader campaign planning.
  • Share insights regularly with key stakeholders to inform strategy and creative direction.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years' experience in email or CRM marketing, ideally in e-commerce, education, or digital services.
  • Proven experience using Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar ESP.
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, automation, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Confident analysing campaign data and applying insights to optimise performance.
  • Understanding of GDPR and email marketing compliance requirements.
