South of the River | Rapidly Growing Business

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a rapidly growing engineering business based south of the river.

This role would suit a technically capable machinist who enjoys working autonomously and takes real pride in producing quality work. You’ll work closely with the Director, an award-winning machinist, providing the opportunity to learn from someone highly experienced in the industry.

About you:

You’ll need to be confident taking a job from engineering drawing through to finished component, including:

  • Setting up jobs from start to finish
  • Programming from scratch
  • Operating Okuma lathes, mills, and borers
  • Troubleshooting machining and programming issues
  • Working independently with minimal supervision
  • Maintaining a high standard of accuracy and workmanship

We’re also keen to hear about any continuous improvement you’ve implemented, whether you’ve improved a machining process, reduced cycle times, improved tooling, minimised waste or found a more efficient way of doing things.

Mastercam experience is highly regarded, as is experience with Fanuc milling machines.

What’s on Offer?

  • Rapidly growing business with plenty of work
  • Opportunity to work alongside an award-winning machinist
  • Supportive environment with genuine technical development
  • South of the River location
  • A role where your skills and ideas will be valued
  • Competitive rate

If you’re a CNC Machinist who can confidently set up, program, troubleshoot and complete jobs independently, we’d like to hear from you.
