We are partnering with an international FMCG business based in Edinburgh to bring an IT Business Analyst into their newly created role. Working from the Edinburgh office, the role will involve working as part of a small team responsible for their Oracle EBS ERP, with a focus on Supply Chain Management.

The duties will involve leading on business process mapping, solution design, configuration and support. The role will work with business and technical stakeholders to understand business requirements and current processes, then apply best practice to improve ERP functionality across the business.

This is a role for someone with extensive ERP experience within FMCG environments who is highly cooperative and can design and implement scalable, secure solutions. It will require the impetus to improve and reduce costs through data‑driven decisions, while ensuring optimal ERP utilisation.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Business Process Mapping – Analyse and document processes that yield ERP improvements.
  • Requirements Gathering – Engage with stakeholders to understand business problems and translate needs into functional requirements.
  • Solution Design – Plan and create functional requirements aligned with business needs.
  • Configuration – Manage system configuration with the ERP team, data management, and business functions to ensure effective execution.
  • Reporting – Ensure ERP reporting is accurate.
  • Support – Promote best practice and end‑user support across the business. Train and create resources to ensure best use of the ERP.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Extensive functional Oracle EBS experience within an FMCG environment.
  • Documentation, training and support skills.
  • Business change experience.
