We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst to join the team to manage high value client engagements. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation initiatives, implementing innovative technologies, and optimizing business processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, manage change effectively, and ensure successful adoption of digital solutions.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing business needs, designing improved processes and systems, and managing the change activities required to ensure successful adoption. The role acts as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring solutions are both technically sound and aligned to operational priorities.
Responsibilities:- Technical/ Business Analysis
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business challenges, improvement opportunities, and system requirements.
- Document current and future business processes, workflows, and data flows.
- Convert business needs into clear functional specifications for IT teams or vendors.
- Conduct system selection exercises and rapidly learn how to configure for business use to meet functional needs during implementation.
- Support solution design, configuration, and testing activities.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and support issue resolution.
- Change Management
- Assess the impact of changes to people, processes, systems, and governance.
- Develop and deliver change plans, communications, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Lead workshops, briefings, and end-user training.
- Produce user documentation, SOPs, and guidance materials.
- Monitor adoption and benefits realisation and report impacts to leadership.
- Project Support & Stakeholder Engagement
- Support project planning, risk/issue tracking, and delivery milestones.
- Facilitate collaboration between technical teams, business teams, and external partners.
- Ensure alignment of change activities to organisational objectives.
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst in a technical, data, or digital environment.
- Experience delivering organisational or system change projects.
- Strong process mapping and documentation capability (e.g., BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart).
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
- Skilled at stakeholder engagement and facilitation.
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
- Experience with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, Microsoft 365, workflow platforms).
- Knowledge of data governance, systems integration, or automation.
- Understanding of project or change methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, Prosci/ADKAR).
