Responsibilities:
- Fabricating and welding a variety of metal components (not just repetitive jig work).
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Performing MIG and TIG welding to a high standard.
- Working to exact tolerances using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools.
- Safely operating lifting and rigging equipment (cranes, etc.).
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safety-first workspace.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fabrication and welding within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong MIG and/or TIG welding skills.
- Ability to confidently read and work from technical drawings.
- Competence with measuring equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and good maths skills.
- Forklift or material handling experience (advantageous training available).
