Responsibilities:

  • Fabricating and welding a variety of metal components (not just repetitive jig work).
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Performing MIG and TIG welding to a high standard.
  • Working to exact tolerances using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools.
  • Safely operating lifting and rigging equipment (cranes, etc.).
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safety-first workspace.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in fabrication and welding within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong MIG and/or TIG welding skills.
  • Ability to confidently read and work from technical drawings.
  • Competence with measuring equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and good maths skills.
  • Forklift or material handling experience (advantageous training available).

Important Requirement: Due to the nature of our work with the Ministry of Defence, this role is open to British Nationals only. Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.
