Responsibilities:
- Planning, delivering, and assessing lessons (KS3–KS4, KS5 where applicable)
- Providing constructive feedback to support student progress
- Using formative and summative assessment to monitor achievement
- Attending departmental meetings and communicating effectively with parents and carers
- Sharing best practice within and beyond the department
- Supporting extracurricular and enrichment activities that enhance learning beyond the classroom
Qualifications & Requirements:
- PGCE with a relevant Bachelor's degree, Bachelor of Education, or equivalent teaching qualification
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong subject knowledge
- Good understanding of the British Curriculum
- High standards of classroom practice
- Ability to work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues
