We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and hard-working Drama teacher to become part of a cohesive, professional and supportive team. You will be both ambitious and passionate about teaching and have the ability to inspire students.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, delivering and marking lessons.
  • Giving constructive and guided feedback to students both written and verbally.
  • Summative and formative assessment, guiding progress through marking and feedback.
  • Attending departmental meetings and communicating effectively with parents.
  • Encouraged to share best practice within and beyond the department.
  • Lead extracurricular enrichment activities to extend learning beyond the classroom.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Successful candidates should hold a PGCE with a relevant bachelor’s degree, a Bachelor of Education or the international equivalent.
  • Hold an up-to-date DBS certificate.
  • Possess excellent subject knowledge.
