Business Studies Teacher

Business Studies\\n\\nWe are seeking to appoint a teacher of Business Studies to work in a secondary school. The role will involve teaching pupils aged 11 to 18 years old, including GCSE and BTEC classes.\\n\\nResponsibilities:\\n\\n * Planning, delivering and marking lessons.\\n\\n * Giving constructive and guided feedback to students both written and verbally\\n\\n * Summative and formative assessment, guide progress through marking and feedback\\n\\n * Attending departmental meetings and communicating effectively with parents.\\n\\n * Encouraged to share best practice within and beyond the department\\n\\n * Lead extracurricular enrichment activities to extend learning beyond the classroom\\n\\nQualifications/Requirements:\\n\\n * Successful candidates should hold a PGCE with a relevant bachelor’s degree, a Bachelor of Education or the international equivalent.\\n\\n * Hold an up-to-date DBS certificate\\n\\n * Possess an excellent subject knowledge\\n\\n * Have excellent knowledge of the British Curriculum\\n\\n * Maintain exceptional classroom practice\\n\\n * Work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues\\n\\n*Payment scale advertised is based upon the teacher pay scale from M1 to M6. Actual pay is based upon relevant teaching experience
