Role Overview β We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented Production/ Warehouse Operatives to join our operations team. This is a hands-on role supporting both our warehouse and production operations, with long-term career opportunities for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Packing loose-leaf teas and teabags into retail packaging (caddies, pouches, cartons) swiftly and accurately
- Ensure all products are packed according to specified quality standards and labeling requirements
- Preparing wholesale and trade orders for dispatch in boxes or palletise
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the production area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Keeping work areas clean, organised, and compliant with company standards
- Maintain the warehouse in a methodical, accessible, and tidy manner at all times
- Ensure stock is stored safely, clearly labelled, and easy to locate
- Operate a forklift truck to move stock and materials safely (licence preferred or willingness to be trained)
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing goods in line with health & safety procedures
- Manage Goods In / Goods Out processes, ensuring accurate checks, counts, and documentation
- Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or safety issues promptly
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in high-quality work
- Good work ethic and reliability
- Previous experience in a food production, packing, or warehouse environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and health & safety requirements (training provided)
- Physically able to carry out manual tasks associated with packing and order preparation
