We’re now looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our incredible team on a 1 year fixed term contract.

TBCo is seeking a talented Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic team in Leith, Edinburgh.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee all warehouse operations including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled accurately and within agreed SLAs.
  • Monitor and improve productivity, accuracy, and workflow efficiency.
  • Manage workload planning to meet daily/weekly and seasonal order volume fluctuations.
  • Establish measurable KPIs and team targets, track performance against them, and lead initiatives to improve results across all warehouse functions.
  • Manage stock control processes, including cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure all processes and procedures are up-to-date, efficient, and continuously improved.
  • Maintain compliance with all Health and Safety requirements and champion a culture of safe working.
  • Oversee building security, ensuring key holders follow best practice and that the site remains secure.
Warehouse Planning and Continuous Improvement
  • Research and implement innovative ways to improve operational efficiency and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Regularly review and optimise warehouse layout to maximise space and picking efficiencies.
  • Ensure adequate supply of packaging materials and consumables to meet demand.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and lead change projects across the warehouse.
Team Leadership and People Development
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration across all warehouse teams.
  • Ensure every team member has clear expectations, goals, KPIs, and development opportunities.
  • Support and mentor team leaders, helping them grow their confidence and capability in managing others.

Training, Onboarding and Recruitment
  • Oversee effective onboarding and training for all new team members.
  • Continuously improve training processes to ensure they are efficient, engaging, and support long-term success.
  • Manage recruitment for warehouse roles as required.
  • Identify pathways for progression and help team members grow and specialise.
Company Leadership and Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work as part of the wider management team to deliver company-wide goals and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with managers across the business to support key projects and seasonal deliverables.
  • Ensure warehouse priorities align with company strategy and that department goals support overall business objectives.
  • Understand the financial impact of warehouse operations and proactively seek ways to improve cost efficiency.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, risks, and opportunities that could impact TBCo.
