Senior Innovation Manager, Food – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
£65k – £75k + Bonus & Benefits
Location: London Hyrbid working – 3 days per week in the office
An exciting opportunity has arisen at a leading branded foodie SME manufacturer for a Senior Innovation Manager to manage their largest portfolio of products.
The company is the category leader and they\’re looking to grow to £300m turnover in the next couple of years through expanding their portfolio of products. They have an enviable work environment and although classed as an SME, they have the a corporate structure and it will be working within a team of 8 marketeers so plenty of cross functional working along with Sales, Finance & the Comms team.
Reporting into the Head of Marketing the role will have the following responsbilities:
- Lead the development of new and innovative food from insight to launch – P&L to execution and through post launch evaluation.
- Work closely with Category Management, Commercial and development teams, leading the setting of strategy and implementation of plans to grow the portfolio, delivering against Category Vision to grow retailers’ categories.
- Lead the Brand Planning process across Marketing, Category and development teams and implement for your areas of the portfolio.
- Lead the development of the growth strategy through analysing key internal data, market dynamics and consumer trends to analyse and understand performance, and draw insightful recommendations.
End to end innovation experience is required for the role from a food background, coupled with brand planning experience. A good level of confidence and gravitas is essential as it will be working closely with senior stakeholders and the role will be managing the largest porftolio of products in the company!
